The State Service Salary Schedule (Grades 1-30) is the basic schedule. Most job classifications on the Alpha List, both Covered Classes and Uncovered Classes(Effective April 2010, this list is sorted alphabetically by Job Title then by Agency, if applicable, to accommodate the growing number of non-agency specific uncovered titles being used), have a numeric grade 1-30 in the grade field. In addition, there are several other schedules specific to certain job classifications, as shown below.

For HRIS entry, use the hourly salary with 4 decimals. The annual salaries shown are rounded numbers for use in job announcements, etc.
SR Salary Schedules
Special rates and special recruitment rates are established when their ranges do not fit the regular salary grades 1-30.

Alternative salary plans are established based upon the prevailing practice in the marketplace, e.g., years of experience, examinations completed and passed.
