Required Workplace Posters for State Government Agencies

Various laws require employers to post mandatory employee notices so that all employees have easy access to view the information. The Human Resources-related posters required for Arizona State Personnel System (SPS) agencies and link to each individual poster are provided below. Required posters are available free of charge from the appropriate governmental entity. Many can be downloaded and printed for posting.

Posters are periodically updated by federal and state agencies. Agencies must ensure that the most up-to-date version of the poster is posted and that all specific posting requirements are met (for example, some posters require that the poster be printed on a specific size paper). Please check this site periodically for changes in required posters.

Based on agency mission, other function-specific posters may also be required.

Federal Government Posting Requirements:

Note:  Although the federal laws listed below have posting requirements, these laws do not apply to states or political subdivisions of states; therefore, SPS agencies do not need to post notices for the following federal laws:

  • Employee Polygraph Protection Act (EPPA)
  • Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA)

State of Arizona Posting Requirements:

Note:  Although the state law listed below has a posting requirement, this law does not apply to Arizona state government agencies; therefore, SPS agencies do not need to post a notice for the following state law:

  • Arizona Minimum Wage
